RIP mestre das guitarras pesadas!

Jeff Hanneman, um dos fundadores do Slayer.

Um dos maiores guitarristas de todos os tempos nos deixou hoje, Jeffrey John "Jeff" Hanneman, guitarrista da banda SLayer, morreu às 11h desta quinta (2), em um hospital no sul da Califórnia vítima de uma insuficiência hepática. 

Jeff que estava afastado da banda devido a uma doença degenerativa em sua pele (fasciite necrosante) segundo informações dadas pela banda anteriormente ele poderia ter o braço amputado. 

No show que teve aqui em Curitiba, que eu fui, ele já não tinha tocado.

A banda anunciou o falecimento do músico nas redes sociais. 

Slayer is devastated to inform that their bandmate and brother, Jeff Hanneman, passed away at about 11AM this morning near his Southern California home. Hanneman was in an area hospital when he suffered liver failure. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his sister Kathy and his brothers Michael and Larry, and will be sorely missed.

Galera encontrei este vídeo no blog dos meus parceiros do SLAYER BRASIL e não posso deixar de compartilhar aqui com vocês, trata-se de uma casa com uma decoração natalina  sincronizada ao som do Slayer - "South a Heaven".... há poucos dias postei aqui a apresentação do Coral das crianças do Palácio Avenida aqui na minha cidade, mas sinceramente esta casa é muito mais foda... rs

obs... Eu nunca tinha visto, mas se perceberem existem vários vídeos temáticos, com Metallica, Pantera, Toy Dolls, Rammstein, etc... (aparece como videos relacionados no final deste vídeo) creio que é uma prática comum lá nos States... Que grana os caras gastam eim... fazer oq né...

***SHOWS: SLAYER***--> 'World Painted Blood' - Curitiba - 2011

Curitiba recebeu novamente outra tradicional banda do Metal mundial, desta vez quem tocou nos palcos curitibanos, foi nada mais, nada menos que o SLAYER.
Cheguei ao Curitiba Master Hall aproximadamente 8 horas, grande parte do público já tinha entrado e desta vez tive que me contentar em ficar lá atrás não deu pra ficar lá na frente, como de costume.
Enquanto o povo esperava ansioso o começo do show, a casa tocava, em som mecânico, muito AC/DC, um detalhe interessante foi na hora que tocaram a música “Thunderstruck” o público trocou o refrão da música de “Thunder” para SLAYER, ficou legal, aah aahaah SLAYER!!!
Antes de começar o show mandei umas mensagens para os amigos do blog – Slayer Brasil, passando o que tava rolando, uma mini cobertura.

Slayer incendiando
Aproximadamente 9 horas Tom Arraya, Kerry King, Dave Lombardo e o guitarrista do Exodus, Gary Holt (que está substituindo Jeff Hanneman) subiam ao palco para mostrar pro público presente em Curitiba, a turnê chamada 'World Painted Blood'.
E foi exatamente a música que da nome a turnê e ao mais recente álbum (2009) que abriu o show arrasador, “World Painted Blood” cantada em coro, agitou o Master Hall pela primeira vez, seguida por “Hate Worldwide” do mesmo álbum, “War Ensemble” do álbum Seasons in the Abyss (1990) venho logo em seguida, “Postmortem” do Reign In Blood (1986) trouxe um toque do mais puro metal, “Temptation” seria mais uma do Seasons, na sequencia tocaram “Dittohead” do álbum Divine Intervention (1994) seguida por “Stain Of Mind” do álbum de 1998, intitulado Diabolus em Musica.

Slayer, Muito foda
Nesta hora eu fui mais pra trás já que não conseguia ver absolutamente nada (é duro ser baixinho). Sem parar a pancadaria, tocaram 2 do álbum God Hate Us All (2001) “Disciple” seguida por “Bloodline”. Um breve intervalo e logo Tom Arraya pronunciou “Dance with the dead in my dreams” para o delírio do público era a deixa para um dos maiores clássicos da banda, mais uma do Seasons in the Abyss, a fodástica “Dead Skin Mask”, é incrível mesmo!!! No mesmo ritmo ainda do Seasons venho “Hallowed Point”. Na continuação tocaram “The AntiChrist”, do primeiro álbum, Show No Mercy (1983) logo venho mais uma daquelas de botar fogo no lugar, “Mandatory Suicide” do álbum South of Heaven de 1988, “Chemical Warfare” do Haunting The Chapel (1984), “Ghosts of War” também do South of Heaven a última desta primeira parte do show “Snuff” do World Painted Blood, impressionante os solos de Kerry King o careca toca demais mesmo!
Kerry King - Insano!!
Um breve intervalo para respirar e tomar um fôlego porque a sequência que estava por vim era muito foda, muito foda mesmo!!! Os super clássicos South of Heaven, do álbum homônimo e Raining Blood do Reign in Blood transformaram de vez o Master Hall em Master HELL. Vieram seguidas por Black Magig do Show No Mercy e pra fechar a noite com chave de ouro venho a obra prima do Slayer “Angel of Death” também do Reign in Blood.
Foi sem dúvida mais um show de gala pro meu “currículo”, fato negativo, como sempre, o valor da porra da cerveja daquele lugar 6 reais, ainda demorado pra pegar, é foda! Mas sem duvidas quem esteve lá curtiu este show fodastico e alucinante e que venha o próximo!!!

***SHOWS: SLAYER***--> Slayer em Curitiba

Considerada uma das bandas de Thrash Metal mais importantes do mundo em todos os tempos, o SLAYER se apresentará em Curitiba no dia 8 de junho, o show acontecerá no Curitiba Master Hall. Os ingressos começaram a ser vendidos no dia 15 de abril e quando eu comprei o meu, já estava no terceiro lote, paguei 104,00 reais. O show faz parte da turne chamada "World Painted Blood Tour" e no Brasil terá, além de Curitiba, uma única apresentação em São Paulo, no dia 9, no Funchal.
Mais uma grande banda no meu "curriculum" hehe!
